Positive
Great Infrastructure. Hostels here are pretty good. The library is huge. You get to meet a lot of different types of peoples, you gain knowledge and experience of effective public relation and communication skills.
Negative
The promotion of sports is nearly negligible by the side of the administration. The Annual Techno-Cultural Fest’ and ‘The Freshers’ is given very little attention and seems to be under-celebrated.

Placements in NIT Jamshedpur are really good specially for CSE. Hostels are just fantastic and newly made. The TATA group of companies provide excellent oppurtunity to do internship nearby. It is surrounded by the lush greenery of Dalma hills and have a pleasant atmosphere throughout the year.
Negative
It lacks in infrastructure. But it has been improved a lot in the past few years. Time is changing for nit Jamshedpur, the infrastructure is improving a lot and a lot of maintenance is happening in the college. Yes, there are still many areas of improvement like wifi.
