Positive
Overall I would say a very good college to be a part of. Its curriculum is updated. Various events and fests have been organized which maintain a proper balance between academics and extracurricular activities. You will get all the opportunities to enhance your career.
Negative
Manit has a few drawbacks like less financial support from the administration for technical innovation. Many of the institute buildings are old. Hostel food bothers a lot in the case of south Indian students, cause the menu has only North Indian food. Classrooms are 1 km far from our hostel.

You will surely enjoy your college life. There are many co-curricular activities organized in college throughout the year. The new buildings which are under construction are top-notch.

NIT Jalandhar campus is on the outskirts of the city.
Sports facilities are not that great. The campus is very small as compared to another nit. 1st-year class don’t have a.c.
